How to Read a Fireworks Product Page: Know What’s in the Box
Shopping for fireworks should be exciting—and understanding the product details makes choosing your favorites easier. How many fireworks are included? How many shots does each one have? Are you selecting a complete assortment or one individual item?
Let’s walk through those questions using The Elements™ Box Kit™ from Elite Fireworks®.
1. Start with the selected option
A product page can offer several purchase options, also called variants. Before adding anything to your cart, check the Variant dropdown near the price.
On The Elements page, you can select the full four-piece assortment or an individual cake. A cake is a firework containing multiple preloaded tubes that produce a sequence of shots.
The main page title introduces the product family. The selected variant tells you which option you’re buying. This matters because the same page offers both the complete kit and individual fireworks.
2. Separate the number of fireworks from the number of shots
“Count” and “shots” describe different things:
For The Elements, the complete assortment includes four cakes with 71 shots combined. Each cake has its own shot count:
These counts come from the product page’s current variant options. View The Elements product details.
You can check the total yourself: 15 + 16 + 20 + 20 = 71 shots.
When reading any assortment, look for each item’s count rather than assuming the total is divided equally.
3. Check what “Quantity 1” means
The quantity selector works with the option you’ve chosen.
For example, selecting the complete four-piece kit and leaving quantity at 1 means one complete kit. Selecting an individual cake and leaving quantity at 1 means one cake.
Before checkout, read the variant name and quantity together. This simple check helps you confirm exactly what will arrive.
4. Use the description and Details section to understand the display
Once you know what’s included, look at the experience the fireworks are designed to create.
The description provides an overview. The Color Display and Pyrotechnic Effects sections help describe the appearance of the display. The Elements page includes these sections beneath the purchase options. Explore the listing.
For an assortment, read these as an overview of the set unless the page specifically assigns an effect or color to an individual item. An assortment’s effect list does not necessarily mean every included cake produces every listed effect.
5. Don’t use shot count as a stopwatch
Shot count answers “How many shots?” It does not, by itself, answer “How long does it last?”
Fireworks can have different pacing. Some present shots gradually; others deliver faster sequences or several shots close together. A higher shot count alone does not establish a longer duration, larger bursts, or louder performance.
If duration matters to you, look for an explicitly listed runtime and watch any available demonstration video. Use the video to understand pacing and appearance rather than estimating duration from the shot count.

6. Review your selection before adding it to your cart
Give these details one final check:
- Selected variant: Complete kit or individual item?
- Included count: How many fireworks come with that option?
- Shot count: Per firework or combined total?
- Quantity: How many of that selected option are you ordering?
- Price: What price is displayed for your selection, and do any promotional conditions apply?
