Big celebration energy. A shopping list you actually understand.
You’ve volunteered to bring the fireworks. Excellent. Now you’re staring at names that sound like action movies and wondering how many boxes one celebration needs.
Let’s make your first purchase feel a little less mysterious.
Start with the setting
Before choosing products, confirm what’s permitted where you’ll use them. Check current local rules and restrictions, then review the space requirements and warnings on each product. Buying something legally doesn’t automatically mean you can use it at your event location. Read CPSC’s beginner safety guidance.
Once you know what fits your setting, the fun part gets easier.
Pick the experience you want
Think about what catches your attention in a fireworks video. Colorful bursts? Glittering effects? A display that takes its time?
Those preferences give you a better starting point than “whatever has the biggest number on the box.”
Save two or three products you like, then compare what each one actually does.
Choose variety with a purpose
An assortment can introduce you to several products in one purchase. Individual items let you choose each part yourself.
Neither approach requires filling your cart to capacity. A smaller selection you understand is a perfectly good first purchase.
Read the contents carefully: how many items, which types, and whether you’re getting different products or multiples of the same one.

Set your budget before the browsing gets good
Choose a total you’re comfortable spending, including any applicable delivery charges and taxes. Then decide which products earn a place in that budget.
The box with the fiercest-looking dragon does not get automatic approval. Even if the dragon is very convincing.
Your first purchase should come with answers
Before checkout, you should know what’s included, what each product does, and whether it suits your location and experience.
